An Inevitable Achievement John walked through his front door to see both his parents sitting on the couch as they both glance up at him. He just got home from school and looked at them with a puzzled look. "Come here, John" said his mother, "We want to talk to you." They had a concerned look on their faces and John wondered what the issue was. He had plans in an hour to meet up with Mark so they could go to the creek to fish. His father hands him a letter. John looks at the letter with a shocked look on his face. "I thought I wasn't going to get this for another month" said John. "It must have come early" said his father. "Open it so we can find out."

In the beginning...In the beginning, there was the word, and the word was "Wakamolensis," and nobody knew what it meant. And so it came to pass that Lerrald the inquisitive spake unto Vred the persistent, "Let us seek the Divine Dictionary of Quantanonalog, so that we might learn the meaning of Wakamolensis." "Right," said Vred. "But we're going to have to walk, because it turns out that I'm too sexy for my donkey," and indicated the beast of burden in question. "Verily," said Lerrald, "A half dead ogre wouldst be too sexy for that donkey." And thus, they set out on foot.

King Knight Monster

The King AwaitsThe guard led me through the grand halls of the castle, eventually bringing me into a magnificent throne room. At the far end, seated on a raised platform, sat the king. His regal robes shimmered in the torchlight, and his piercing blue eyes studied me with keen interest. “So, you seek the lost city of Arindel, do you?” His voice echoed throughout the chamber. “Perhaps you’re the one I’ve been waiting for. But first, you must prove your worth." The king rose from his throne and motioned to a grand, silver chest beside him. "There is a creature that has plagued my kingdom for years—a giant, ravaging villages, destroying crops, and instilling fear in the hearts of my people. If you can defeat this beast, I will help you find the city you seek. But there is a catch—only the sword of a fallen hero can slay this giant, which i possess." He paused, his gaze sharpens. “I will allow you to wield it, but know this: The sword is cursed. Many before you have tried, and all have failed.” The king’s eyes gleamed as he unlocked a nearby chest and pulled out a sword—a gleaming blade with runes etched along its hilt. “Take it. If you succeed, not only will I help you access the lost city, but you will also have a place in my court.”
